NEWS FLASH: The Sustainable Condo™ exhibit has now been relocated, refreshed and rebranded as
“A Healthy Home @ Downsview Park”
The Sustainable Condo™ was created in 2004 as a full-size 24’ x 40’ condominium-style living space that displays currently available green technologies and sustainable products.
The exhibit is a project by EcoSmart Foundation, a Vancouver-based non-profit organization. Since 2006 they have partnered with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to showcase the exhibit in Toronto at ten high profile venues including IIDEX, Construct Canada, Realtor Quest, the Green Living Show and the Canadian National Exhibition. More than 175,000 people, including industry professionals and consumers, have visited the condo.
Over the next several years it will serve as a model suite demonstrating the sort of stylish urban home that will be available in the years ahead at Downsview Park.
